Panic! at the Disco - I Write Sins, Not Tregedies

This video is sexy! It is a salute to guy-liner, actually. You listen to this song and have this sudden wanting to dance until you collapse. The beat is just so superior to a lot of what I've heard. It really builds up and the song never loses its intensity. It's so right on! Stopping a wedding was never this much fun!

Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape

Where to start? Okay, well, when I first saw this video, which was also the first time I actually even heard the song, I literally jumped from my seat and shouted, "What the hell is this?" I'm sorry if any Gwen fans are insulted, but I simply cannot take this song. Why is it on my site, then? Simply because I want to express my feelings about it. First, I mean you have hours of "woo hoo", "yee hoo" and it sounds like Love Angel Stefani is going insane. Then, she goes to this double voicing country style effect. She is pop, okay? Not country. If anyone's seen her sing Achy, Breaky Heart, then tell me. But anyway, I was excited to have Akon, Mr. Konvict in this. However, the demented "woo hoo" went off when he sang, so it was almost pointless to have him in the video. You barely hear him! Is he there to make Gwen look good? Yes, Gwen Stefani has gone downhill.

Fall Out Boy - This Ain't s Scene, It's an Arms Race

Even though people rave about this song, I don't think it's that amazing. When they rock out, I love it. But when they're not, and you have that annoying drum pounding in the background, that almost makes the song sound R & B. It's just, I love the chorus, but nothing else. Fall Out Boy is such an enjoyable group, and their songs are enjoyable, too. The songs all have this vibe, and when you hear this it's like I'm thinking, "This is not them." It's a good song. It's just not Fall Out Boy.

My Chemical Romance - Helena

Three words: best song ever! It's amazing, yet creepy. Its transitions, from frightingly mysterious to chemicalized metal, go by so smoothly. The people in the video are there for a funeral, but this song is nothing but dead. You'll want to listen to it over and over agsin.

Overall: 9.5/10

Daughtry - It's Not Over

I will be honest, this is NOT one of my favorite Daughtry songs. Although, it has a great chorus, an amazing beat, and vocals with a song only Chris could pull off, it gets old for me. It's a good song, catchy, but the Daughtry bar is high, and this song is just lost in the middle. Good, not great is what I'm trying to say. I'm anxious for the song, Home, also by Daughtry, to become a music video. That would be a phenomenon, I'm telling you.
